Beautifully constructed story.

If you're asking for thoughts on the historical propositions woven into the story, I think they are compelling but I can't say one way or the other what their historical veracity is. It certainly is believeable as written, and it is true that there are a number of books out there which argue for the Magdalene visionary interpretation championed int he book. As well there might be -- it is a beautiful counterpoint to the authoritarian paternalistic version of Xianity, whihc certainly deserves some good solid counterpoint.
