The town it's in, it'll be much more likely top 40 and 'classic' rock (whatever that means) than 'folk' music at an open mic...

Down that road (I guess maybe this needs it's own thread?) I'm thinkin gin terms of what night would be best (I'd kill for a steady Tuesday night gig, but a downtown Chatham bar already HAS a KICKIN' Open Mic... Might be a stupid thing to go up against) and what to charge him... (I know things haven't been as good as they'd like to them to be, but it's still kinda got that new pub smell, and they're doing slightly better than breaking even, and they haven't even been open 9 months now...)
