G'day Charley,
Earlwood is about 10 km/6 miles south west of Sydney centre (that makes it an inner-west suburb!) It's on a train line, but equidistand between the Princes Highway and Parramatta Rd (Great Western Highway) ... and it's also John Warner territory.
For better map references, press the Horvaths ... that's what geographers are for!
