Powell's book store is an absolute must. Drive east on I-84 and check out the gorge and then back on the WA side on St Hwy 14 to Portland. If you decide to do that give me times and dates , we live about 2 hours east of Portland but the scenery is breath taking. My work schedule affords me some week days off as well. So EZR. It is a possibility. There is six to eight active M'catters that live in and around the Portland area. They might answer to the call. Let's give them a chance to catch up to the thread.
