I'm all for talking like pirates. If you buy a small zucchini, slice it thin, and fry it in olive oil, with a little parmesan cheese, it's delicious. It's the big zucchinis that people insist on growing in their gardens that wind up on people's porches. I spent a summer housesitting for a friend, and picking zucchini before they got too large.
