There was a time in the 1940s that war profiteering was seen by many as absolutely not moral at all. These days, though, with the capitalist ethic in place and Bush henchmen in the White House and in the corporate bastions, war profiteering is not only just fine with everyone, but it is officially sanctioned and the thing to do before they run, like Enron etc., with their ill gotten billions of dollars.

This is a sad time.
