Forsh...it is just barely possible that your browser has not been told the proper file association it should call to run swf files.

Somewhere in the menus at the top there should be a long list of "file types" and one should say "application x-shockwave-flash" with extension .swf...and there should be a way to read & edit what program should run it. That's the only guess I have....
