MairSea... sorry it came across that way.

The truth is that there are not really any organisers/hosts as such. Tom Laurie, is sort of the "headmaster" when he's there, but when he's not, whowever's feeling bossy enough takes over, just to start things running.

As you saw we run in a fairly regular singaround style, but new people turn up all the time. We're always delighted to see anyone who wants to contribute, but some weeks, there are up to maybe 20 singers, or players looking to participate. It can be tricky trying to fit everyone in. It's not a club in any form.. folk just appear as they see fit.

Also, there are some weeks where Tom has spent a lot of time trying to cajole people to sing. He's more persistent than I am ( on the odd occasion when he's elsewhere and I usurp "control"). If one has to spend more than 4-5 minutes persuading someone to sing, it can really disrupt the flow of the evening. But I take your point. I shall endeavour in future to make sure that whoever's directing the flow offers the floor to anyone not sitting inthe immediate singing circle.

Glad you enjoyed the singing.
And it was nice to meet Leo this evening. Fine voice, nice songs.
