It's a funny old world, I've had a few traumas this year medically,but I'm still here. [Do I hear loud boos in the back there?]
What brought all this on you ask ? [Don't you?] Well one day last week we went out to pick sloes and brambles [blackberries], the sun was shining, and accross the way I could hear the pods of broom crackling, as they did their impression of Onan, and cast their seeds. I thought what a lovely day, one of those sort of days make life that much more enjoyable. I'm going picking Chanterelles later today,so I don't need reminding why I left London, and moved back to my own country/countryside.
