This isn't all that long, but it'll have to be done in three or so bites.)I think it's very unlikely indeed that the proportion of women opposed in principle to abortion is lower than the proportion of men. It just doesn't square with my experience. The only polls I've ever seen do seem to indicate that this was the case, with well-off young men being the section most likely to be pro-abortion. Maybe it varies in different parts of the world.
