There's also the old sea poem "The Rhyme of the Nancy Bell" which describes how the narrator survived by gobbling up the cook, the captain bold, the crew of the captain's gig, the bosun and the midshipman. All rendered in the best of taste! If interested, you can find it somewhere in the DT.

I'm also fond of the old Music Hall version of "Sweeney Todd the Barber."
