we had no choice 21 years ago...baby kicked down for several months,(I'm told that was not exactly fun), refused to turn, and wanted to stick one leg into the birth canal! C-section was only way, and even then he stuck the other foot out first and had to be turned before they could extract him.

It would have been pretty serious otherwise...
