I accidentally caught the end of a hymn on television this morning and thought I new the tune, I don't know the proper title but the tune was "Wild Mountain Thyme" and where the words "will ye go lassie go" I heard "and holy is his name" I tried a search but came up with nothing (but that doesn't mean it hasn't been discussed here before).
What I want to know is have there been previous threads on this subject and which was borrowed (the folk tune for the hymn,or vice versa?)
