A. L. Lloyd printed a set in Come All Ye Bold Miners (revised edn., 1978, 144-5): The Old Clog-Dancer's Song. He noted:

"Sung by Pete Elliott of Rickleton, Co. Durham (23 August 1976). He had the song from an old miner, Johnson Ellwood, of Chester-le-Street, Co. Durham, himself once a champion clog-dancer."

The set he prints differs a little from yours; it begins Noo then, marras, what fettle? for one thing. Where did you get it?
