Of course I followed the link and read the whole article, and followed their link to a US govt site, which is why I didn't dismiss it as a hoax. I am a biochemistry graduate and as I said, I find the idea fascinating.

However, there is no way than training can be passed to offspring genetically- it doesn't work like that! This odd statement made me doubt the scientific basis of the study, or at least the scientific knowledge of the person writing the report.
