I'd guess it's Ron Davies - if you mean the guy who comes over from the US specially for Sidmouth and sings in the Anchor Middle Bar as well as at the Doom and Gloom. But if you mean someone who wasn't at this year's Doom and Gloom I don't think I can help. Ron's photo has now been added to the Yahoo Middlebar portrait collection. Given that it's been a year since you last posted to Mudcat about this, you may have been able to sort this out at the DG&D session last month!
