Two Mormon songs based on Foster's "Hard Times" have been posted in the DT and Forum.

"Brighter Days in Store," or "Brigham's Hard Times Come Again No More," in the DT as noted by Joe, but reposted in thread 2933. In addition to Sorrels, it was sung by a choir on Mormon Legacy, Columbia Records.
