Okay- You had to go and do it. I actually live in the town where Jello as we know it was invented. By one Mr. Le Roy (pronounced luh roy- not Lee roy.) Jello is simply the brand name for fruit gelatin. I also feel obliged to mention that through some freakish trick of nature (and I also feel obliged to preface this by saying "I AM NOT JOKING") Cool Whip was invented about 25 minutes from here. How's that for your church potluck trivia???
