Some boats were sunk or destroyed in harbour, many at the Charlottetown Yacht Club. I heard reports of at least two vessels down in Halifax Harbour. But fortunately no reports of any lost at sea. Let's hear it for modern weather forecasting, they grounded all the planes and it sounds like smaller vessels were not caught in it.
