Well hit it did and we're still cleaning up. It was the worst storm I've ever experienced. Landfall was at approximately 12:45 am Monday. I thought the roof was going to come off my house several times. The noise was unbelievable. I looked out the window and the rain was coming down in sheets. My backyard is completely wooded and the trees were almost at right angles. I lost three trees but thankfully they all fell away from any property. The power of nature is awesome. It blew a train engine into the harbour in the Bedford Basin. So far 2 people were killed due to falling trees and 2 sailors are missing at sea. Power is still not yet restored to the HRM.
