I believe there was a western called "Jesse James Meets Frankenstein" (or maybe it's the other way around). Anyone seen it? Now there's a weird premise...

I have wondered for years how audiences could put up with those interminable Jimmy Stewart movies where people talk and talk and talk and talk....and very little else ever happens. After all, even listening to Jimmy Stewart ramble on for a mere five minutes or so could easily drive me to considering death by gerbil inhalation.

I just don't get it.

It's a shame that Jimmy Steward and Woody Allen couldn't have done some movies together and see who could reduce the other to speechlessness first. What a scriptwriter's dream that would have been! I think they would have annoyed the hell out of each other.
