Luis Buñuel has done some weird ones. I've seen "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" (1972), "The Phantom of Liberty" (1974) and "That Obscure Object of Desire" (1977), all of which were weird, but after all these years, I find they sort of run together in my memory, so I'm not sure which is which.

One film I have in mind is about two men, a gynecologist and a pimp (!), who decide they are fed up with women, so they go set up housekeeping in a secluded country house to get away from them. It's mainly a satire on gender roles. It may be one of the 3 films I have just mentioned or a different one whose name I have forgotten. Does anyone recognize the plot?
