Mine was the only other bid (non-winning).

I was intrigued because my grandfather was a cartoonist and illustrator and got his start in Japan prior to the turn of the last century (around what looks to be the vintage of the card), to say nothing of the fact that I play banjo, the Mikado was a family favorite when I was growing up, and I'm a fan of cats! Still, I wasn't willing to put out the big bucks. I have copped a copy of the digital photo, though!
