Darn, Rick. I was going to suggest the Button Box. I rented an anglo from them when I was trying to figure out which kind I wanted. (BTW I went with English because I could chord and accompany myself singing.)

Yes, Button Box or such a place is spendier, but your consideration seems to be that you are in a crunch for time. It would be a trade off to rent to own; you could get a quality instrument right away.
