"Welcome to accordion heaven" - I think that may be a joke reference to a song by John Kirkpatrick which contains the lines:

Here's your harp -mwelcome to Heaven.
Here's your acordion - welcome to Hell."

(And I think the idea for the song may have come from a Gary Larson cartoon)
