Ah, if we are talking about being against preferential treatment for anyone, I am right with you. I (perhaps mistakenly) got the impression that you expected to join the benefits / housing queues ahead of other immigrants. I can't contradict you on whether or not things have swung the other way, because I have no real first hand experience of UK life any more.
