~ deep, true purples, especially mixed with deep greens. Recently deep indigo and sapphire blues have been appealing

~ so little time to read! I read almost anything EXCEPT romance, sci-fi or crime.
Living where I do, I am especially enjoying Southern writers like Alan Gurganis, Fred Chappell, Lee Smith

5. what books have you really been wanting?
~ I usually haunt auctions and used book stores and find everything I want and more

6. what type of music do you like?
~ almost all kinds, but especially strong, a cappella songs of work, blues, spirituals, etc

7. what cds have you really been wanting?
~ every even numbered listing of Folk-Legacy, and every odd numbered listing of Camsco. Since Jerry Rassmussen just mentioned it, though, I'm saving my pennies for 100 Gospel Greats. Also want to try the new Erykah Badu. And anything Carl Perkins ever wrote, just for fun. But (see books, above) I really don't have time to listen to the CD's I have, and would be better off spending the money on freeing up my time so I could spend more time singing with people, instead of listening to other people do it!

~ not much into movies

~HATE t-shirts: prefer soft cozy flannels that double as pajamas

10. do you collect anything? if so, what?
~ sand from beaches of all kinds from around the world

11. what are some of your other hobbies?
~ currently, porch-sitting whenever I can get to it. If music, food and whiskey are involved, well, so much the better.

~ wear very little, only wedding ring and some made by a friend

~ I don't so much like stuff, thingies, do-dads. I do like food, and good drink, and good company. I'm interested in you, and your life and environs, too.
