When I was a kid, I HATED onions with a passion. I would freak if I found them in any of my mother's recipes.

One day, I tried French Onion soup and I fell in love with the little devils.

I'm thinking of another great sandwich now - saugage & peppers. Nice hot Italian sausage smothered in fried onions and peppers on a firm (but still soft) Italian roll.
