Rick, I used to do a St. Pat's day gig across from the NH state house for the states' Republican Party, I guess it was cool to have us there but no one ever took notice, great pratice gig for the money though. You're right about it feeling inherently silly playing to a group that wouldn't know a Dewey from a Dooley but would still pay enough that you can't refuse.
