Great to hear all the positive feedback - Eileen and I had the most fabulous weekend. On Sat morning/lunchtime we were on duty in the Information caravan and had a grandstand view of the Appalachian dancers - superb! They really held their audience - many thanks to them.
Lynne – I didn't get to thank you after the Sea Song/Shanty session on Sat so I'm taking the opportunity now. Have run singarounds in the past but never a session with so many well-known guests, so we were a little nervous. We needn't have been – you were all 'pussycats' and gave 110%.
One of the great things about festivals is that apart from the music/song etc. you get to see faces you haven't seen for a while, some from about 20 years ago!
Dave – sorry we only bumped into you briefly outside the Vine – a bit like ships in the night, so glad you enjoyed the 8 Bells session.
