It sometimes raises a laugh, to put in an obvious misrhyme where an obscenity is the natural progression. An example is from Billy Connolly's take on "Two little boys":

"If you see them on the beat
As they swagger down the street
Here's a piece of advice for you
Don't trust your luck
Turn round ! Run like the clappers
From the little boys in blue"
