Hi, Wolfgang - you don't have Stollen cake in your part of Germany? I think we were able to get it in Berlin when I lived there. It was almost like bread in texture, yellowish-white inside with bits of dried fruit and nuts inside, usually served at Christmas. You'll find a recipe here (click).
