The RSPCA here in Australia is actually making a difference in the lives of many animals. Our eggs are now labled "cage eggs" or "RSPCA approved" - which means that they are not kept under the the cruel conditions of their cage cousins. The pig farmers are now compelled to keep their animals in more humane conditions - because of the RSPCA. The live animal trade is under fire but so far it remains our great shame.
