When I was at law school I noticed a rather odd demographic. The issues of human rights were generally addressed by student organizations made up of memebrs of an ethnic minority, often closely realted to the human rights need, or working class students, where the animal rights group where often members of the domenant majority population. Just one of those things which makes one say, "hmmmmmm".
