For two years I worked in a vets, for three I worked in a toy shop. I'll yake animals any day. People have more control over their animals. Many parents seem to think that everyone is amused by the bad behaviour of their kids, not so. Also, I think this is an argument based on a false permise. The original poster seems to equate fund raising with what we value. If that were the case we would never fund raise for anything but human causes.
