A radio phone in in Halifax, N.S. raised nearly a million dollars for the restoration of the historic and much loved public Gardens in this city. Much thanks to Maritime broadcasting for arranging this. This Park is beloved by many and was severly damaged by hrricane Juan. Now we need another fund raiser to help restore Point Pleasant which was devastated.
