Rick F. showed me the "Drinking Water from a Hollow Log" Fred McDowell lick -- on the high strings (you can put it in the 4th and 5th strings too) in open D -- first string open, first string 3rd fret, first string 3rd fret, first string open, second string open, second string 3rd fret and then slide up to the 5th fret (still on the second string). Useful at all times.....
