Guy, I passed your question on to the appropriate authority, this was the response I received.
The European Sub Regional Development Commission.
Dear Guy,
To the best of my knowledge these three chaps, John, Mick and Dave, are just 3 fellas who play music on a wednesday night in a pub in Goxhill. It is the nearest thing that Goxhill has had to culture in all of its 27 year history, (or however long it was since they built the railway).
Goxhill is in the middle of nowhere, just off the main road to the back of beyond. I, and some of my friends, occasionally do missionary work over there in the hope of spreading enlightenment and giving hope to a forgotten collection of shanty town shacks clinging to a meagre existence within terrible scenes of deprivation.
I can only say how proud we all are that our cultural "seeds" have born such fruit and say how much sales of this CD means to the economy of the area. No longer will the people of Goxhill have to "kow tow" to the great god of the "toilet roll" factory in Barton of pay tribute of the overlords of Barrow. Goxhill is now on the international map thanks to these chaps. Special thanks to you Guy for helping to spread word of this charity CD across the world.
Our next project is to raise money for "Elocution Hamsters for the Phonetically challenged". An outreach project running in East Hull.
Please give generously.
Hope this answers your interesting question Guy.
