I did some Googling on this, and couldn't find an address or email. I think he's the lad that lives with Kate Lassauer. I am wanting his permission to publish the song "John Lover" or "John Lover's Dead" that I heard performed by Keiron Means and Sara Grey Sunday last.

The tune is a traditional fiddle tune called "Johnny's Gone to War",
and Johnny Whelan's words are amazing and powerful.

There are a couple other John Whelans around, I don't want the cowboy singer from El Paso, or the blues man. This person is from Somerset, I believe.
