The equine pugilists are scheduled to appear at the Rose and Crown, Hornsea, on Saturday 1st November, with the lovely Nikki displaying her beauty and musical virtuosity for the benefit of the good people of Holderness. Following that, the following Sunday sees the return of the magnificent Oakley for the final appearance at the Sun Inn, Beverley.

I'm currently treating the imminent re-emergence of PTH with a little alarm. I got the pot off my hand on Wednesday, and currently it feels worse than before I went to hospital. Movement is severely restricted, a large part of my thumb is completely numb, and any attempt to grip anything hard in my left hand (like, say, the neck of a guitar) is greeted with a bolt of excruciating pain in my hand and forearm. But, hey, it's still a week away, and I'm 'ard, me.
