Helen, we don't have any info about the church other than what I mentioned above - in fact the only info we have that I didn't mention already is my sister's Korean name.

Bob, thanks for your offer. The thing is, I'm sure there are many St. James churches in Australia so it's very unlikely that any given church is the one. So I'd hate to ask a friend of a friend of a friend to research a remote possibility. Thanks anyway.
