As we set out one evening upon the Northern Sea
We were headed out a-fishing for to earn our daily fee

We never thought the Witch's Hole would drag us down to Hell!

Our charts were fully marked, or so our Captain thought
Avoiding every hazard, every shoal, and every rock
And tho' the Witch's Hole lay athwart our very lee
