Not good news, but a man named White was found dead in the gutter is the city of Santa Cruz, California. Date was probably late 80s or early 90s. He had lived homeless for several years. All that was said of him was the John McLaughlin played one of his (acoustic) guitars. Not sure it was the same man since I don't remember his initials.
