Anyone else have problems caused by the recent sunspot activity? I found last night that it's knocked out most of my favourite satellite tv signals - including the footie channels! As there is a huge mass of electromagnetic particles yet to hit the earth, I suspect things will get a bit more chaotic on the communications and power front - blackouts are forecast for various parts of the world. On the upside, we are supposed to get a fantastic display of the Northern Lights further south in the UK - I heard of a display over York on Weds but ain't seen nothing on the south coast yet. That reminds me: TV Quizmaster "Where would you most likely see the Northern Lights in Britain?" Contestant: "Blackpool" - and I'm told that this is true!!
