Blowin' up that possum's butt
When you were done, we just sat there grinnin'
Now you say he needs his own web page
The Possum wants his cut
But all that varmint really needs is skinnin'

Do you take me for such a fool
That I would not realize
That back in my home State they're mainly road-kill
On many a moonless night
you can see their shinin' eyes
As they crawl across the road just outside Louisville

I wish that for just one time
You would take that possum's place
And just for that one moment he could be you

up to that possum's face
