*** DUFF INFORMATION ALERT ***

May I bow my head in shame, and offer you my abject apologies for my
last post, (I can only blame it on the fireworks which rattled my
two brain cells around for about three hours last night).

The band who ran the club at "the Two Brewers" in Salford, and who
then went on to run the club at Hyde United football club were NOT
the Pennine folk but the FOUR FOLK.

All other information is still correct. (I think, *BG*)

It's times like these that make you realise that you're not as young
as you thought you were, and incidentally, my memories are going back
to 1968 - 1971 ish, so maybe the Pennines took over from the Four Folk.
after then.

Sorry once again for confusing the issue.

P.S. Thanks for your kind offer Harry, but I'm now even further
away from your area than I was before, not a terrific distance away,
but I'm not a great traveller, (I hate driving these days), and my wife
and I were never social animals at the best of times, so we don't tend
to get out too much, this may change if we move to a different area
of course, but we'll see about that in the next year or so.
