I wish that I could put some hope in the "beware the anger of..." portions of Ivins' column, but unfortunately, I can't. A couple of months before the 2004 election, Bush and his cabal will pull some miraculous goodies out of the hat for the electorate, who will all cheer, think themselves better off, and vote for the bastard again.

I have very little faith in the electorate.
