Didn't we go through all this years ago in the Scopes Trial? I believe in God. I also believe that the 7 days of Creation story was a non-literal parable that enabled the human mind to grasp something that is nearly unfathomable- the great stretch of time since the Big Bang, and the miraculous evolution of the human mind.

Of course, Kansas City seems to be staking it's claim to be a leader in the Devolution of the Human Mind.
