Dialogue?

Well, THAT was an interesting way to encourage one.

I guess I'd like to believe that we still have a constitution which protects my rights to speech and belief, that people matter more than corporations, that, even though I am a woman with a disability, I still have rights (the repubs I know aren't certain of that) that democracy is best purchased by respect, not a gun, (either the selling of one to the guy who will offer us the most oil, or aiming one at the guy who won't sell his or her country for a song for our gain.) I am tired of people who make much much more money than I do receiving major tax breaks while we are being told there is not enough money to educate children, provide folks with health care, or feed people. I am tired of paying an arm and a leg for four glaucoma medications here in the US when I could get them at a much more reasonable cost two hours away in Canada. I am none too happy about having acid rain ruin the maple crop, screw up the water in Lake Champlain, and blacken the snow while the Republican Administration merrily relaxes restrictions on coal burning plants.

Usually I do have a sense of humor, but it's wearing thin these days when I am told that my concerns are unreasonable. Funny how that is.

I do know a few really good Bush jokes, but perhaps they wouldn't find a receptive audience on this thread.

I am tired of being called names and denegrated for hol;ding these beliefs. If you want dialogue, don't call me names, tell me why you think that republicans have something to offer, tell me what you believe in, and then maybe we can start talking.

I have never gotten truly pissed off on this websited before, but you have the honors.
