I met Rick Fines at The Woods Music and Dance Camp 2000 when he was on staff. What an incredible blues player and singer...and what a wonderful fun person! This summer Rick was performing at the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, and I asked him there if he would be interested in doing a house concert in Toronto - yesterday we set the date. I am absolutely thrilled!

A couple of years ago I was going through some pretty serious voice problems. I decided to ask the person with one of the best voices I've ever heard to give me some guidance. That voice belonged to Katherine Wheatley. Poor Katherine - she tried to teach me guitar as well, but I'm afraid the gap between her skills and mine was just way too big! Her songwriting is beyond words....I can't wait to hear her again.
